The second gaming-specific area is commercial: payment processors and app stores conduct their own diligence, and the documentation they expect is unfamiliar to counsel who have not done it before. A rejected processor application can halt revenue faster than any enforcement action.
Most operators keep a business generalist for day-to-day corporate work and bring in gaming counsel for the legal opinion, product-change reviews, and anything touching a regulator or a platform.
